CODE OF CONDUCT
Welcome to Horton Plaza Park. The following code of conduct is designed to promote and increase patron’s enjoyment of the park and promote the safety of patrons and the park environment. To do so, we ask that all guests comply with the following rules:
Congregating, loitering, or engaging in activity that hinders the flow of traffic, or obstructs entryways or walkways is prohibited. Loitering in the park outside of the posted hours of operation is also prohibited.
Offensive or Disruptive Behavior
Indecent conduct or any riotous, boisterous or threatening behavior is prohibited.
Roller Skates, Skateboards, and Similar Devices
Roller skates, skateboards, scooters, Segways, hover boards, remotely controlled devices and other similar devices are not permitted.
Smoking, including but not limited to electronic cigarettes, is prohibited.
Alcohol is not permitted in Horton Plaza Park, except with a special event permit.
Possession of any container made of glass and used to carry or containing liquid is prohibited.
It is unlawful to practice, conduct or solicit for any trade or profession without the written consent of the City.
Sale of Merchandise
The sale of any goods or merchandise is prohibited, without written consent of the City.
Firearms (including replicas) or any object that can be used or construed as a weapon are prohibited.
No overnight sleeping or camping.
Dogs must be leashed and under control of owner at all times. Owners must pick up and dispose of feces.
Playing any game of ball and/or engaging in any sports is prohibited.
Groups of fifty or more people are prohibited, except with a special event permit.
Persons who violate the code of conduct will be asked to leave the Park and may be subject to criminal and/or civil penalties.
